


The Federation of Bengal Hoteliers (FBH) had the privilege of meeting Hon’ble Union Minister for Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, to discuss the key challenges and issues being faced by the tourism and hospitality industry in West Bengal.
During the meeting, FBH submitted its concerns and recommendations for the betterment of the sector. The Hon’ble Minister patiently heard the issues and assured the delegation of his support and positive intervention to address them.

The members of the Federation of Bengal Hoteliers (FBH) proudly participated in the West Bengal Tourism Stakeholders Conference 2026, held on 30th June 2026 at Hotel Aurum, Siliguri, organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal.
During the conference, FBH members had the opportunity to present their thoughts, suggestions, and future roadmap for the development of tourism and the hospitality sector in West Bengal before the Hon’ble Tourism Minister, Government of West Bengal. The discussions focused on strengthening tourism infrastructure, improving policy support for the hospitality industry, promoting sustainable tourism, and enhancing West Bengal’s position as a leading travel destination.
FBH remains committed to working closely with the Government and all stakeholders to contribute towards a stronger, more vibrant, and globally competitive tourism ecosystem in West Bengal.

FBH Team at the AGM of Malda District Hotel & Restaurant Owners Welfare Association
The Federation of Bengal Hoteliers (FBH) team had the privilege of attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Malda District Hotel & Restaurant Owners Welfare Association on 18th June 2026 .
The meeting provided a valuable platform to interact with members, discuss key issues affecting the hospitality industry, and exchange ideas for promoting tourism and strengthening the hotel and restaurant sector in Malda.
FBH remains committed to working closely with district associations and industry stakeholders to support the sustainable growth of tourism and hospitality across West Bengal.

The Federation of Bengal Hoteliers (FBH) proudly participated in the Bengal Tourism Fair (BTF) 2026, held from 19th to 21st June at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Kolkata.
The fair brought together tourism stakeholders from across West Bengal to promote the state’s tourism potential, strengthen industry collaboration, and showcase diverse destinations.
The opening ceremony was graced by Dr. Shankar Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Tourism, Government of West Bengal. His presence and encouraging words reflected the Government’s continued commitment to the growth and development of the tourism and hospitality sector.
The FBH team was delighted to be part of this prestigious event and looks forward to working together for a stronger and more vibrant tourism industry in West Bengal.
